The island is not as expected. No lush jungles or flowing streams. Rather the terrain is blackened, almost burned, covered in broken, splintered rock. Strange sinuous grasses and roots seem to seek you out and trip you as you walk. Giant mushrooms and fungal blooms tower over scraggly, scaly trees with sickly grey-green leaves. Overhead, the skies roil in a constant churning black cloud, beyond which the light of the sun strains through.
